Rating by category:
This was my 3rd stay at this hotel and I found it to be up to the standard of the previous visits. Nice rooms, helpful staff and because of public transport a good place to be able to visit most of Lisbon.
Breakfast is very good. very good quality.
Why don't have a sort of pc room or business center?
Ease of access to Metro.
The elevators are very noisy. My room, 1014, was adjoining an elevator, which was a constant, and therefore irritant. Source of thumps which resounded in the room. Also there was heavy noise of air conditioning motors. If I stay at this hotel again during one of my trips, I would not accept a room one the top floor, or adjacent to an elevator.
The hotel was lovely, we were staying there as we were going to a football match with Sporting Lisbon and the hotel is very near their Stadium. Hotel staff very pleasant and the hotel is very nive throughout.
The spa people were sparate management fm the hotel but they were very helpful & let me join an excerise class for a small fee. It was extremely enjoyable class. The jacuzzi has seemingly out of order for long time though. The location was very convineint 4 me. The distance fm city centre, the airport. There's a metro & mail railway station nearby.
location, metro is 150m away, rooms are big and very clean, water is very hot in the pool
working time of the spa center only till 20:00 hours on working day, it is not open on weekend, very bad police of the hotel because everyone want to rest on weekend in the spa
We were in Lisbon for the Marathon, so the proximity to the start point was the best thing about the hotel.
We made a change to the booking prior to arriving add the hotel to add breakfast to the 5 booked rooms and it took a long time for the check in staff to find the change and apply it to the room. Even though I had sorted the problem for the group booking, other members of our group had the same problem when they checked in.
This is a very nice hotel that I could recommend to everybody. It's very close to the metro station with a good connection to the city center. Staff is very helpful. One suggestion concerning swimming pool is that you should take a swimming cap with you. If you don't have one you will have to pay 5 euro.
the sauna and steam room.
The hotel looks good when you get there, but the tv in the room was pretty old,the reception was bad, half the channels they said you got did not work, the free computers did not work.the swimming pool was filthy,i put my hand a few inches under the water and i could no longer see it,the hot tub was out of order, the room service menu was just a bit of paper with a few things on it,4 euro service charge.
As a newly wedded couple visiting from Rome, Lisbon was a very beautiful experience in spite of the rain. What made it even more enjoyable was our stay at the VIP Executive Villa Rica Hotel. The hotel is very nice, they have very friendly staff with good knowledge of English language. The breakfast enriched our experience too. In fact, of the three hotels we stayed in Portugal, this hotel stands out. Keep the good work. Just to mention again that the hotel is located very close to the city centre. The metro station 'Entre Campos' which is like 300m away takes you to the centre in no time...we had fun here...
we chose this hotel as was close to the airport, so it worked for 1 night; for a longer stay one should chose a facility closer to the centre
reception of tourists should more more helpful; no one of the hotel staff offered to help us with the luggage
Excellent value for money; friendly, helpful staff - I went to the wrong location for the conference I was attending....I was an hour and a half away! The reception staff were very helpful and practical and quickly reassured me. Lovely, clean and spacious rooms
I couldn't swim as I didn't possess a swimming hat! (the main reason I booked there!) Gym very small and disappointing as not air conditoned. BBC News 24 did not have sound.....problem with cable television apparently (otherwise the hotel is wonderful.....)
Simple food in the morning, very good location - near metro station. I could easely get in 5 minutes to the center. Friendly stuff, they help me with any question regarding places of interest
room was comfortable and clean. Services in general were fine.
It is absurd to force customers to buy communication cable in orer to contact their PC to the internet. This cable should be part of the room "furniture".
Everything was fine. The food was excellent and I would say cheap. Nearby there are a metro station plus a railway station - very convenient.
The weather could be better but the hotel has nothing to do with it :)
